'Porky' was George Lawrence, my Great Grandad. He lived in Sewardstone and was a Smallhold Farmer on land between the Sewardstone Road and the Lea, The cottage was pretty much next door to the Royal Oak. His family lived there from the 1850's and my Grandad left there when the land was sold in in the late 1940's.

Wow this is my Dads Great Uncle Albert, he had his pig farm down Sewardstone Road, near where Ashbrook care home is now. Thank you what a fantastic pic.
